I think that japan people don't hate Apple, but they are in the tech race with the US so, they treat it as a competitor, but who loves the rivals? I think noone.

Image 22: Computer unit face closeup

The striking computer unit face. You'll see up/down rocker switches for screen brightness, volume, and TV channel selection; buttons for muting sound and switching between Mac and TV; a button to stop and eject CDs (by opening the CD tray); and CD player controls.

The horizontal bar to the right of the Apple logo isn't a button; it's a little window that lets you see that there's a CD inside, and whether it's spinning. An odd feature, but I'll take it. (The User's Manual doesn't label or mention this item.)

"You will have to take Vic's [Mac OS X Tiger] disk...I am not giving mine up. ;) Tonight I got on corpnet, hooked up Mail.app to my Exchange server and then downloaded all of my mail into the local file store. I did system wide queries against docs, contacts, apps, photos, music, and my Microsoft email on a Mac. It was f*cking amazing. It is like I just got a free pass to Longhorn land today."

"Yes. I know. It is hard to take. I don't believe we will have search this fast."
