Image 39: Back cover removed

Getting at the TAM internals is easy enough. Push up two latches at the bottom of a back cover panel, and the panel easily lifts off. Unlike that small port cover panel, it fits well and feels sturdy.

Why remove the back cover? To add RAM, of course – or to add an expansion card, necessary if you want the 1997-era luxury that is Ethernet.
