(If you don't know Seth Godin, he's the voice of insight in the hyper-connected, conversational, customer-centric 21st-century world of marketing – which, as he always enlightens readers, is a word with a lot more meaning than you might think. Seth is someone on the cutting edge of tech and culture – and these days, that sort of person almost always has a Mac in hand.)

Happy Birthday, iMac: A look back at looking ahead

iMacThe iMac's 10th birthday is here! Just 10 years, but look at how much the personal computer has changed, and how much the iMac has changed it. It's fascinating to look back at the press that followed 1998's surprise introduction of the original Bondi blue iMac, the all-in-one unit that quipped "Sorry, no beige" and exhorted us to "Think different". What really stands out in people's reactions is just how difficult a task "think different" was for Apple's audience.  Read more »

MacBook Air wins over CNN reporter

More MacBook Air coverage – because of all the Macs I don't own, obviously this is the one I'm all a-lusty over.

Same with the CNN reporter writing Mac Air vs. Cloudbook. The article ends with "I now lust for this laptop and will switch to a Mac as soon as possible" – wonderful words, though these days, "I'm switching to a Mac" is heard from Windows users almost as frequently as "I'm editing my Registry". Read more »
